SIB 13 01 11: Fuel system service information

Fuel system service information on BMW E63/E64/E70/E71 and other models (2010–2011); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10039767 · Jan 2012 · also written SI B13 01 11, B130111

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

A process has been created to identify causes of customer complaints related to the tank ventilation valve.
