What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

Incorrect fuel level displayed. The vehicle loses power or will not start. The fuel system may be empty although the fuel gauge indicates fuel is present. Various misfire faults and/or faults related to the high pressure fuel system may be stored in the DME memory.
