What it covers
A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.
F30 PHEVs- Delayed Driving Readiness Status. Immediately after an engine start (start/stop button press), the gear selector is operated, but no drive position (D or R) can be engaged (transmission stays in P). The customer must operate the gear selector again to engage a desired drive position.
