SIB 32 01 09: Seat service information
Seat service information on BMW E82/E88/E90/E92 and other models (2008–2011); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.
BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10037537 · Nov 2010 · also written SI B32 01 09, B320109
What it covers
A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.
Immediately after a cold start if electronic components are turned on such as heated seats it may switch off after 5-10 seconds because of a voltage level dip.
