BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10188943 · Feb 2021 · also written SI B51 12 18, B511218

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

TRIM STRIP IS LOOSE OR DETACHED FROM ROOF: The roof trim strip may be loose or detached. The roof trim strip adhesive was not sufficient.
