What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

Tailgate intermittently cannot be opened or closed. One or more of the following situations can occur, if the tailgate striker is not adjusted properly: ? The tailgate does not lock ? The tailgate does not remain locked ? The tailgate does not close ? The tailgate does not remain closed ?
