Door noise on BMW F32/F33/F36/F82 and other models (2014–2016); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10147874 · Dec 2015 · also written SI B51 25 15, B512515

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

Groaning noise from A-pillar Door Stops. A groaning noise can be heard from the A-pillar area near the front door stop when one of the front doors is opened, or when the vehicle is driven on rough roads.
