BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10166375 · Sep 2019 · also written SI B51 29 19, B512919

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

GROANING NOISE FROM TAILGATE HINGE: A groaning noise is present from the area of the tailgate hinge when opening and closing the tailgate.
