BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10147876 · Dec 2015 · also written SI B51 38 15, B513815

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

Door Brake Makes Squeaking Noise. The customer may complain of a squeaking noise when opening or closing either front door. Debris inclusions imbed into the door brake slide mechanism.
