Seat noise on BMW E53/E70/E71 models (2006–2009); BMW gives an adjustment procedure.
BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10037238 · Oct 2010 · also written SI B52 08 09, B520809
What it covers
A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.
There are noises when adjusting the front driver or passenger seates.
