SIB 52 11 25: Seat service information

Seat service information on BMW G14/G15/G16 models (2020–2025); BMW released a software update.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 11022110 · Aug 2025 · also written SI B52 11 25, B521125

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

If the seat ventilation is deactivated via the switch or due to parking the vehicle, the fans in the seat cushionor under the seat cushion surface are unpleasantly loud. The fans speed up loudly twice and then turn off. The functionality of the fans is not impaired.
