SIB 52 14 23: Seat replacement

Seat replacement on BMW G07 models (2023–2024); the fix is replacing the affected part.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10246301 · Nov 2023 · also written SI B52 14 23, B521423

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

A change in the Bowden cable routing is observed in the third seat row backrest. Replacement Bowden cables are shorter than original parts.
