What it covers
A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.
A limited amount of Model Year 2023 (MY23) vehicles were produced with Smart Opener control units set too sensitively. TheSmart Opener is part of the Comfort Access feature, enabling to open the trunk lid or tailgate using the "¢ÂÂfoot kicking"¢Â motionbeneath the rear bumper.
