SIB 61 20 24: Electrical system failure
Electrical system failure on BMW G70/G11/G12 models (2022–2023); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.
BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 11021111 · Jul 2025 · also written SI B61 20 24, B612024
What it covers
A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.
In the event of a voltage drop, comfort functions of the BMW interaction bar may fail and not respond.
