SIB 61 23 19: G30E with inductive charging
G30E with inductive charging on BMW G30 models (2018–2020); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.
BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10170586 · Dec 2019 · also written SI B61 23 19, B612319
What it covers
A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.
G30e WITH INDUCTIVE CHARGING: BMW is conducting a limited field test of an inductive HV charging system to learn more about customer's acceptance of such a "state of the art" technology.
