SIB 61 28 22: Electrical system service information
Electrical system service information on BMW G20/G21 models (2022–2023); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.
BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10239609 · Jun 2023 · also written SI B61 28 22, B612822
What it covers
A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.
A limited number of the G20 PHEVs may not have been supplied with an Occasional Use Charging (Standard OUC/Level 1/Mode 2) cable in error.
