What it covers
A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.
Reverse Light is Intermittently Inoperative. CCM (Check control message) is displayed indicating a ""reverse light"" is out. CAUSE There is a weak spring in bulb socket or bulb carrier (on the luggage compartment lid) which is causing a bad contact with the bulb."
