SIB 64 05 24: Electrical system service information
Electrical system service information on BMW G30/G60/G70/I20 models (2023–2024); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.
BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10252133 · Mar 2024 · also written SI B64 05 24, B640524
What it covers
A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.
When the interior temperature of the vehicle is between 5 F (-15 C) and 23 F (-5 ), the defroster function is limited; and the interior doesn"¢"Â"Ât heat up quickly enough.
