What it covers
A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.
Airbag warning illuminated; fc 9309F1 is stored in the ACSM3. Airbag warning lamp is illuminated in the instrument cluster, and fault code 9309F1 (front passenger seat occupant detection) is stored in the active crash safety module (ACSM3). The fault is set as a result of low voltage in the vehicle.
