SIB 66 02 24: Instrument cluster warning message
Instrument cluster warning message on BMW G14/G15/G16 models (2023); BMW gives an inspection and repair procedure.
BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 11005244 · Jul 2024 · also written SI B66 02 24, B660224
What it covers
A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.
In the operation of Frontal Collision or Lane Departure systems, once a restriction is detected, a yellow warning indicator will be displayed for either system in the instrument cluster (aka “Kombi”). The illuminated warning will remain until the restriction is eliminated and no longer detected.
