BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10147268 · Sep 2015 · also written SI B66 05 15, B660515

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

Parking Maneuvering Assistant and Park Distance Control Failure. After activating the PMA (Parking Maneuvering Assistant) or PDC (Park Distance Control), the system stops functioning and a CCM (Check Control Message) is displayed advising the driver of the failure.
