SIB 66 06 15: Camera warning message
Camera warning message on BMW F32/F33/F36/F48 and other models (2015–2016); BMW gives an inspection and repair procedure.
BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10147785 · Oct 2015 · also written SI B66 06 15, B660615
What it covers
A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.
Sporadic Check Control Messages of the Driver Assistance System. Sporadically, a CCM (Check Control Message) is displayed advising that the Camera-based Driver Assistant system has failed. This is due to the vehicle interior reaching very high temperatures.
