SIB 01 25 18: Owners/service/other manual service information

Owners/service/other manual service information on BMW G02/F98 models (2022); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10200225 · Jun 2021 · also written SI B01 25 18, B012518

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

Starting with Model Year 2022, retroactively, the remaining standard scheduled maintenance coverage is now transferable to the next vehicle owner without a Refresh.
