SIB 08 03 18: Software new-car delivery hold

Software new-car delivery hold on BMW G05 models (2019); unsold cars were held for inspection and repair before delivery.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10152653 · Nov 2018 · also written SI B08 03 18, B080318

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

The calendar page has flipped to November and we are pleased to announce that you can now deliver and retail RDR the all new X5 (G05) once you have remedied all recalls/delivery stops.
