BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10148169 · Dec 2014 · also written SI B12 34 14, B123414
What it covers
A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.
N52T DME Fault CD9304: Diagnostic Hints for Bit-Serial Data Interface Communication. If there is a problem with communication on the Bit-serial data interface bus (BSD), the obvious symptoms are related to the oil service CBS functions.
