What it covers
A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.
The hose clamp connecting the fuel filler pipe to the fuel tank may have been positioned incorrectly. Furthermore, owing to its larger outer diameter, the filler pipe installed in the vehicle cannot be positioned up to the end position in the connecting hose.
