What it covers
A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.
Service Action: Replace Fuel Tank Supply Unit. The internal sealing of the fuel tank pressure sensor fitted in the fuel supply unit may fail. As a result, the sensor may read an incorrect value and set a fault code for the fuel tank evaporation system.
