BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10149362 · Oct 2014 · also written SI B31 04 14, B310414

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

Service Action: Retorque Stiffening Plate Bolts on Front and Rear Axle. On the front and rear axle stiffening plate bolts, the intended tightening torque may not have been reached during assembly.
