What it covers
A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.
Erroneous Electric Power Steering (EPS) Fault This Service Information bulletin supersedes SI 32 05 16 dated April 2016. INFORMATION This is an erroneous fault! After a terminal status change, the fault disappears until the next diagnostic session.
