SIB 41 02 25: Body service information

Body service information on BMW F39/U10/U11 models (2023–2025); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 11017277 · Apr 2025 · also written SI B41 02 25, B410225

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

While driving on a smooth and/or uneven road, a “popping” sound is heard from the bottom of the C-pillar area. This can occur on one and/or both sides on the vehicle C-pillars.
