SIB 51 03 15: Front Floor Mats Do Not Stay in Place

Front Floor Mats Do Not Stay in Place on BMW E90/E92/E93/F30 and other models (2010–2016); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10147676 · Mar 2015 · also written SI B51 03 15, B510315

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

Front Floor Mats Do Not Stay in Place. The Velcro patch attached to the bottom of the floor mat peels off. From these cases, it has been determined that the Velcro peeling fault occurs on mats produced prior to May 2014. We no longer need ""Info Only"" cases from this time period."
