What it covers
A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.
Service Action: Missing Front License Plate Bracket. Affected vehicles have been identified as being delivered within the state of California, which requires a front license plate to be affixed. The SAV center must install the bracket to the front bumper in anticipation of affixing the license plate.
