SIB 51 34 19: Floor mats do not stay in place

Floor mats do not stay in place on BMW G29 models (2019); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10167999 · Oct 2019 · also written SI B51 34 19, B513419

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

FLOOR MATS DO NOT STAY IN PLACE. The floor mat fastening pads come loose, causing the floor mat to move out of place.
