BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10182906 · Oct 2020 · also written SI B31 01 20, B310120

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

SERVICE ACTION - REPLACE THE WISHBONE OR TENSION STRUT: An incorrectly pressed-in rubber mount in the wishbone, or hydraulic mount in the tension strut can lead to acoustic abnormalities in the front axle.
