What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

CREAKING NOISE ON SIDE OF CONVERTIBLE TOP NEAR CENTER/FRONT . While driving on uneven surface, creaking noises are heard from the area near the top of the window or from the top of the A-pillar. Friction between convertible seal and the windshield or side window.
