BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10164008 · Jul 2019 · also written SI B52 11 19, B521119
What it covers
A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.
CLICK CLACK NOISES IN BACKREST AREA OF FRONT SEAT: An alternating "click-clack" noise is heard from the backrest area of the front seat when an occupant sits in the seat or when the vehicle is cornering. Seat backrest frame is touching the seat cover.
