SIB 52 01 21: Seat fault codes

Seat fault codes on BMW G05/G06/G07/G11 and other models (2014–2023); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10242694 · Aug 2023 · also written SI B52 01 21, B520121

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

The front seat will not calibrate/initialize, and the stored faults cannot be deleted.
