What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

RATTLING NOISE FROM THE 2ND ROW SEAT BACKREST. A rattling noise can be heard from the backrest of the 2nd row bench seat. This noise can be heard over bumps while driving or if someone is sitting in the seat.
