SIB 61 01 14: Control module fault codes

Control module fault codes on BMW E71 models (2010–2011); BMW released a software update.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10147975 · Feb 2014 · also written SI B61 01 14, B610114

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

Updated Power Electronics Box Bracket. There is a ""Hybrid Malfunction"" or ""Drivetrain Malfunction"" check control message. This may be an intermittent condition.
