What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

There are various electrical malfunctions, for example: Central locking, radio reception, tailgate, and rear lighting. Fatigued and broken wires in tailgate harness. The problem may affect either left or right side harness at tailgate. Install repair harness on affected side of vehicle.
