SIB 61 10 22: Fuse service information

Fuse service information on BMW G26/G22/G23/F32 and other models (2017–2023); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10225116 · Sep 2022 · also written SI B61 10 22, B611022

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

Due to an incorrect terminal assignment, the compressor circuit is protected with a 30 Amp fuse (slot F227). A 40 A fuse (slot F229) is required for suitable circuit protection.
