BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10242528 · Aug 2023 · also written SI B64 07 23, B640723

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

BMW AG has issued a Delivery Stop (effective June 29, 2023) on certain Model Year 2023 BMW i4 vehicles that were produced between April 19, 2023, and April 24, 2023. Contaminants were found on the printed circuit board of the electric A/C compressor (EKK).
