What it covers
A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.
DELIVERY STOP: PROGRAM BODY DOMAIN CONTROLLER (BDC). In case of a rollover-crash, the doors should be locked after the crash and only unlocked after 6 s. In case of a frontal crash, the doors should be unlocked after 160 milliseconds.
