BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10034467 · Apr 2010 · also written SI B61 18 09, B611809

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

Various simultaneous electrical problems. There is a software error in the JBBFE-3R control module. Very intermittently, the JBBFE-3R wakes up in bootloader ode instead of application mode.
