What it covers
A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.
Service Action: Check Wiring Harness for Electric Fuel Pump. The wiring harness for the electric fuel pump may not have been routed or secured correctly. In unfavorable conditions, the wiring harness may come into contact with sharp edges on the fuel pump access cover.
