BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10147827 · Nov 2015 · also written SI B61 22 15, B612215

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

Rear Window Defroster is Inoperative. The rear window defroster no longer works. Fuse 203 (30A) in the rear power distribution box is blown and the power distribution box may show signs of overheating. Excessive power consumption of the rear window defroster overloads the circuit.
