SIB 61 44 17: Window will not close after repeated button pushes

Window will not close after repeated button pushes on BMW G32/F06/F12/F13 and other models (2017–2018); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10143561 · May 2018 · also written SI B61 44 17, B614417

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

WINDOW WILL NOT CLOSE AFTER REPEATED BUTTON PUSHES: One or more power windows stops operating after repeated button pushes. This usually occurs when trying to close the window.
