What it covers
A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.
WRONG OUTSIDE TEMPERATURE DISPLAY. During stop and go or slow driving, with the engine at operating temperature, the ambient outside temperature display deviates in the instrument cluster by up to +10 degrees from the real ambient temperature. Location of ambient temperature sensor.
