BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10151376 · Jun 2016 · also written SI B62 11 16, B621116

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

Center Information Display Switching off. INFORMATION The brightness of the CID will reduce and may switch off completely due to high temperature rise inside the vehicle. This situation is to protect the function of the CID. After lowering the temperature, the normal functions are restored.
