What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

One or Both Outside Mirror Turn Signals Do Not Operate. When using the left or right turn signal, the turn signal light on the outside mirror does not operate. CAUSE The outside mirror light assembly has a pin pushed back and makes a bad contact.
